Archaeological research has been linked to the search and the successful finding of the extinct Church of the Virgin Mary has been published several times in the past, although never in fullness (Borkovskj 1953; Frolik - Maiikooä-Kubkood - Rüzickova - Zeman 2000; Maiikooä-Kubkooä - Herichova 2015). The showers were and are connected because it is the object with which we connect the memories of Prague Castle, the oldest ruling dynasty and the Czech state. It is also the oldest, uniquely identifiable castle object. In our archeology of the Middle Ages, it is probably the first time that the long (Borkovskj, 1948; 1949), in which the former archaeological and archeological monuments were located.
The archaeological research has documented the localization and submitted such findings that the identity of the discovered building was acknowledged. Subsequent discussions have shown that archeology of the Middle Ages is already capable of defending itself (Borkovskj 1960).
